Mumbai GPO (called ‘bureau’ hereinafter). It provides on-line, all the
services provided by the bureau at its sale outlets, which are the services
offered to the public as required and in compliance with the instructions
contained in the Hand Book for Philately, 1985 and instructions issued by the
Postal Directorate New Delhi from time to time.
The services offered by this web site are liable to be withdrawn at any time.
Though the information provided in this site is checked for
correctness, visitors shall indemnify the bureau for any mistake due to
oversight.
The articles in the ‘Reference Page’ are copyrighted to the
authors. The opinions expressed in their articles are not necessarily the
opinion of the bureau.
The registers and documents maintained by the bureau for
philatelic deposit account and purchase orders are the basic documents for
these, from which data in respect of these are uploaded. In case of any doubt about
the correctness of the on-line data on these the bureau may be contacted to
rectify the same.
The facility of free home page provided to any or all the
philatelic deposit account holders is liable to be withdrawn at any time
without notice.
If, due to space limitation, the free home page service is to
be restricted, preference will be for older accounts.
The bureau is not responsible for any information provided in
the home pages of account holders.
Any transaction by the visitors to this site between them and
the home page owners in this site are on their own initiative and
responsibility.
The on-line purchases done from the bureau are subject to the
terms listed in Terms and conditions page of this site.
